Dates are the fruits grow on the palm tree belonging to the family of Phoenix, and scientifically named as Phoenix Dactylifera.   • Anti-Oxidant and Anti-Inflammatory: "The anti-inflammatory activity of the pure isolates from Ajwa fruits was revealed by their COX-1 and -2 enzyme inhibitions. Among these, flavonoid glycoside 1 showed the highest COX-1 enzyme inhibitory profile, similar to that of aspirin, and COX-2 enzyme inhibition similar to that of naproxen. Research says it has found evidence that the Ajwa date from Madinah contains active elements useful in the prevention of diseases.
